SSFD Door Saver Program
The SSSFD Door Saver Program allows the SSFD to access your property in case of an emergency without damaging your front door. In the event that the fire department needs to access your property to respond to an alarm or reported emergency, this lock box allows us to access your residence using your own key and a code of your choosing.
For a fee of $55, the SSFD will install a new Master Lock lock box at your property and will share your code with the dispatch center for Dare County Emergency Services. If an emergency is reported at your property, dispatch will be able to share your code with the appropriate responding agency.
